Maria Sinziiana Astefanoaei

Assistant Professor

Maria is an assistant professor at The IT University of Copenhagen. Before joining ITU, she studied at The University of Edinburgh, where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Mathematics and a PhD in Computer Science. Her research focus is on designing scalable machine learning algorithms for data-intensive applications related to sustainability, particularly renewable energy generation and human mobility.
