Senseboat - Making Sense of Water - Workshop April 21⁄22

The Senseboat and the workshop
Sensemakers’ SenseBOAT™ is an intelligent, uncrewed surface vessel (USV) measuring water quality and natural ecosystem data using advanced sensor technologies. On April 21 - 22, it will come to ITU, hosted by the DASYA LAB and the ITU Maritime Hub, for a 2-day workshop and field/water activity. to explore this autonomous maritime sensing platform (USV), and the data analytics and computer vision methods for improving marine biodiversity.
We will have two in-water data collection trips -
on day 1, in the water pools directly outside the ITU building on day 2, for a 3 - 4 hour data collection campaign at Amager Strandpark
You will have opportunity to
control the USV
work with its sensors and the data collected
- Multivariant water quality probe
- Keel camera (eelgrass and seabed detection)
- Multibeam sonar for seabed scanning
- 360 degree mast camera for navigation (could also be used for bird detection)
contribute with your own ideas, additions and improvements to the Senseboat
