Zsolt Istvan
Associate Professor
Zsolt István is an Associate Professor at the IT University of Copenhagen working in the area of distributed data management and specialized hardware accelerators. Earlier, he has been an Assistant Research Professor at the IMDEA Software Institute in Madrid and a visiting PostDoc researcher at IBM Research in Zurich. He has a PhD degree from the Systems Group at ETH Zurich. His dissertation was awarded the prestigious ETH Medal and received the Honourable Mention for the EuroSys Roger Needham PhD Award.
